The Product

Description

BFG Force Gauge: Basic Digital Force Measurement

The BFG Force Gauge is ACRN’s entry-level electronic instrument for tensile and compression force measurement. It combines an ergonomic, portable design with straightforward digital readings, making it ideal for teams who need reliable force verification without a steep learning curve.

Available in capacities from 10N to 2500N, the BFG Force Gauge provides instant digital readings for quality control on the production line, at incoming inspection, or in the workshop. Its bar-graph overload warning and simple controls make it accessible to operators without specialized metrology training.

Typical applications of the BFG Force Gauge

The BFG Force Gauge is commonly used to check tightening forces, packaging seal strength, and general tensile or compressive performance wherever a straightforward, affordable force measurement solution is needed. Compared to a purely mechanical force gauge, its digital display and data output provide faster, more consistent readings.

General force-measurement principles for this type of instrument are described in the reference documentation on force gauges, and every BFG Force Gauge is delivered with a COFRAC-traceable calibration certificate to guarantee full metrological traceability for your quality processes.

For applications requiring advanced data processing, mounting on a compression/tensile test bench, or connection to external sensors, ACRN also offers the AFG Force Gauge and VFG Digital Force Gauge as higher-capability alternatives within the same product family.
