Cosmetics industry
Leak tester for soap refill pouches
For an originally shaped soap refill, the ATS tube crusher was adapted to allow testing of this pouch.
Consumer electronics
Leak test for an electronic device enclosure
The customer was looking for an inexpensive device to test the watertightness of a plastic enclosure intended to be immersed in the sea. ACRN designed an immersion and vacuum test that raises and lowers the enclosure, to prevent water ingress that would damage the internal components.
Perfume packaging
Tightening torque measurement under industrial cappers
To be sure of the settings of its perfume bottle cappers, whatever the products being packaged, our customer needed mobile dummy torque sensors, used during the industrialization of the production line.
Food manufacturer
Breaking torque of recyclable wooden spoons
To replace plastic spoons with wood, this manufacturer had to check the breaking force and torque of the spoons. We developed the test protocol and provided them with a test set-up so they could check the strength of their product.
Cosmetics industry
Adapting a tube tester for recyclable tubes
With the arrival of recyclable materials for cream and shampoo tubes, we developed a presser shape that limits marking on the tubes during tests. Compliant tubes are no longer scrapped.
Aeronautics industry
Cargo hold depressurization simulation chamber
To simulate helicopter landings and take-offs, we built a large chamber with a controlled leak rate to test the resistance of electronic enclosures.

Lipstick mechanism selection
To select a lipstick mechanism from several suppliers, ACRN carried out tests. The test consisted of operating the mechanisms several hundred times to select the one with the best stability of opening and closing torque over time. ACRN ran fatigue tests and graphical analyses to provide tangible data for choosing the mechanism.
