A true specialist in packaging control, ACRN manufactures a whole range of digital torque meters as well as sealing and dynamometric testers adapted to the needs of manufacturers in fields as varied as cosmetics, pharmacology and, more recently, agribusiness and the chemical industry, etc.

The Torque Testers

In packaging control the torque testing consists in measuring the force to be applied when screwing or unscrewing a bottle, flask or tube.
The ACRN torque testers have already won over a large number of manufacturers in fields as varied as cosmetics, pharmacology, and now the wine-growing environment.

In packaging control the seal testing carried out on liquid and semi-viscous products can be carried out directly on the edge of the production line. They are conducted by placing a box in a vacuum chambers and enable the operator to detect a leak on a sample immediately.
The ACRN vacuum chambers are divided according to the size and options they offer. Thus where certain models are supplied with a printer for obtaining a direct report of the results, others, which are connected directly to a computer, display them as a function of time.

ACRN offers a seal testing by placing the packaging of a liquid or semi-viscous in a vacuum in a transparent box, enabling the operator to detect a leak on the defective sample.

Force Gauges

Force Measurement

Force Measurement is required in a number of sectors of activity, particularly in packaging control.
To quantify the tensile or compressive force to be generated, ACRN offers suitable solutions with its range of mechanical or electronic Force Gauges, their stands and load cells.
Enabling checks to be made on values ranging from 0 to 25,000 N, the ACRN Force Gauges have proved their worth in applications ranging from lipstick tubes to railway rails.

Checking of aerosols

This packaging control activity consists in checking the crimping height and/or diameter of aerosols, crimped pumps or bottles. These quick, accurate checks offered by ACRN are of particular interest in the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries, but are not limited to them.
