Torque Testing
In packaging control, the Torque Testing consists in measuring the force to be applied when screwing or unscrewing a bottle, glass or tube.
The ACRN torque testers have already won over a large number of manufacturers in fields as varied as cosmetics, pharmacology and, more recently, agribusiness.
The manual Torque Testers
The manual torque testers offered by ACRN all have a digital display adapted both to laboratory tests and the edge of the production line.
They enable both screwing and unscrewing torques to be measured.
According to the options, these torque meters store up to 14 product ranges and provide printing and PC connection solutions for close monitoring of the results over time.
The torques measured may vary from 0 to 20 Nm.
Unlike the competition, the technology of the ACRN sensor offers an actual, pure torque measurement and not a measurement of a lever arm moment measurement,
together with a high acquisition frequency.

The motorised torque testers
The computerised and motorised benches use the power of the computer to control the movement of the frame at an adjustable constant speed ranging from 0.5 to 15 rpm.
A static torque sensor is fixed to a vertically adjustable cross bar and carries out the measurements.
Its connection to the computer enables graphs to be drawn and the results of the tests to be followed in real time.

The Vortex device consists of the assembly of a motorised frame and a static torque controller fixed
to a vertically adjustable cross bar and connected to an AFTI console. |

The torque wrenches
The torque wrenches enable the peak torque values to be measured during tightening and untightening..
More accurate and easier to read, the electronic models can guarantee traceability via the printer.
The torques measured may vary between 0 and 200 Nm.

The XA is an electronic console for reading torque or force sensors. Thanks to the MICA connector, the XA recognises the connected sensor and adapts to the physical value (force or torque) and recovers its characteristics (Full Scale, Gain, calibration date, units)
